About him
I'm funny and a bit cheeky, with a keen sense of adventure. This means I spend the majority of my spare time outdoors, including sailing, skiing, golfing, cycling, gardening and walking my dog. When I'm indoors (and not working) I can turn my hand to a reasonable range of DIY tasks and projects. Right now I'm getting my old MG back on the road, hopefully before we run out of summer....
I love the English language, and using it in all its glory. This can, and often does, lead to deep conversation, which I enjoy immersing myself in. I also try to speak a little French, Italian and German, all to a low level - at least so far!

Ideally someone funny, clever and kind. I like a positive and contented attitude, allied to a sense of adventure. But also someone able to scrub up well for fancy occasions!
Attention to detail matters to me. And whilst I'm all for enjoying extravagance from time to time, I can cope very well with the most basic of provisions when I need to and I have difficulty with seeing needless wastage. And I also have a low tolerance of rudeness or poor manners.
My Christian faith matters a lot to me, so I would look for someone who shares it, or at least respects it fully.
I've been kept at arms length in relationships for far too long, so I crave meeting someone warm, affectionate and loving, and I can assure reciprocation.
