About her
Now that I’m retired and have more time on my hands, despite the fact I’m to be a first-time Nan soon, I liked the idea that this site seemed to offer a good selection of things to do and a way to meet more people to be involved in the game of life with.
I’m fortunate enough to have a wonderful family including adult sons, brothers and sisters and also some wonderful friends who I travel and socialise with.
However, most of them are partnered or married so I don’t know about you but I think it’s nice to have somebody in similar position to myself to say “hey fancy doing this together?”
I am a very content solo traveller and go to events such as theatre, concerts, art exhibitions, comedy shows and parties by myself. But! … if you know you know.

Oh goodness me, is there such a thing as an ideal match on paper?
I do like a nice smile and somebody who has reason to share it. Someone who takes care of themselves and who has got a variety of Interest I can share their enthusiasm with. FYI: I do love football and I’m an Arsenal fan, but that’s not a dealbreaker. 😘
Somebody who has confidence in themselves and so can hold a conversation on a variety of subjects but doesn’t necessarily take themselves too seriously and finds natural joy in somebody else’s company.
Integrity and respectfulness at this stage of a life is a must for us all I would think. I will certainly offer that and so I would like to expect that kindness in return.
