I’m kind, witty, irreverent, a music obsessed (rock/alternative/indie thought I have no objection to classical) lefty bookish empathetic introvert. My friends might add funny and forthright, someone once even said intellectual. (If I try hard, maybe?)
Enjoy board games art galleries, crosswords, the garden, being with my dogs and travelling, food, going to gigs. If you can make me laugh, know tons of obscure pop culture references and don’t make me do the outdoors or sport stuff we’ll get on great. Dislikes: smoking/heavy drinking, earnestness, Oasis, celery and MCM architecture . Likes: Crisps, pugs, late nights, intelligent but silly conversations and twisting the rules ever so slightly.

Being genteel enough to not be boorish, clever, funny, easy going and kind. Reliable, loyal and faithful are all a must. Curiosity and conversation rank highly, as does an interest in cultural activities. Liberal humanitarian values are important, as is a somewhat absurdist sense of humour and left field perspective on life. An indoorsy chap who finds sport boring, has no inclination to climb, swim, run or rugby tackle anything or paddle board to and fro from the gym would be wonderful, surely there’s a man somewhere who isn’t into all that or can enjoy those interests while I pursue my own hobbies. Non competitive or bothered by status symbols, motivated enough to have a rewarding career but not a workaholic.
