Alex is a genuinely nice guy and it is a pleasure to write this and tell people about him. He is very bright and extremely quick witted, but one of his most endearing traits is that he is so dismissive of his talents, and makes everyone around him feel special, clever and interesting. (Even me, and I'm his most stupidest friend!).He is also kind and his empathy levels are off the scale. I've never seen him lose his cool, despite some extremely challenging situations where lost coolness would be the default of 99% of the population. He's a good employer, a supportive and loving father and a brilliant friend. On the friend front, he tells you what you need to hear, not what you want, but says it in a kindly way that you know stems from trying to help, not just tell off! Alex is disciplined mentally, and keeps himself in ridiculously good shape physically. But his most amazing traits is his sense of humour - which is completely impossible to dampen! I've literally never seen him in a bad mood, and he always makes me laugh. (His jokes are awful, btw, but he tells them with such enthusiasm that he makes them funny anyway.)
Last thing about Alex: If I were ever in trouble, I'd turn to Alex for help, and know I'd get it.
