Thank you for viewing my profile. Lots of looking but not much else happening. Does anyone ever do more than look?
Retired, own home, active, fit and healthy, with an ok income. 70 going on 60, I prefer to think and act younger than my years. Sociable in a calm way, with all original parts except for the teeth.
Free and single again after a long marriage and time alone, now seeking a female friend, and possibly more, with whom I can enjoy life and share a laugh with. Happy to have a coffee and a chat but there has to be something special for anything else to happen
A novice but fully-licensed motorcyclist, a car driver only if I have to, an advanced beginner acoustic guitarist, and a local and family history buff. Very good at DiY and tech stuff. I enjoy musical theatre, good films, and a wide variety of music genres. I keep up with world events (and ignore the junk we are fed with). I enjoy good pub grub plus the occasional restaurant meal, I prefer the countryside to beaches/cities, I like the atmosphere of the past at historical sites. I still enjoy beating younger guys at a pool table
I dislike most poetry, and most opera. I'm not an avid book reader, not a sports fan, not into rubbish TV, not into beach holidays nor into sun-bathing and I'm no good at golf nor skiing. I'm a common-sense type of individual and far from being an intellectual type, although also far from being stupid
I have a tux and suits but I prefer to wear smart casual or scruff. I dislike wearing ties but can do if need be
I've travelled when younger and I've lived in other countries but I'm now more home-loving. However, I would like to tour the Scottish Highlands, and would like to go on a on a cruise but maybe not on a floating hotel, plus I'm thinking about going on a train tour or motorbike tour around parts of Europe

I'm hoping to find someone who is independent, enjoys life's simple pleasures, and can see the funny side of life. I'd like that person to be physically fit and healthy, and preferably younger than me because anyone over 62 tends to be a bit too old for me. I'm not expecting a full life-long commitment but you never know what might happen🤷.
