About him
Moderately high energy, still. 25 BMI - whatever that means. However, I'm not so sure that this new "70's is the old 50's" business thoroughly fits my description.
Still, despite the advancing years, I can run and jump and play and other complicated things. Very few scabs on my knees and I rarely fall down. But when I do, can generally gain the vertical without aid. If bidden, and with an admirer watching, I could leap tall buildings at a single bound etc. I whistle, cook, sail, bike, walk, run (see above), play music, sing, go to concerts, private views and so on.
I can read and can write in joining-up. I’m OK on holding a conversation – sometimes even with other people I don’t know. I try not to very often split my infinitives but am aware these days that were subjunctives used, they tend to be ignored, other than by obsessives. I’m not obsessive. But I do abhor bad speeling.
I’m house-trained, often clear up after myself and barely dribble at all. My vests I wash regularly whether they need it or not. I never let my sheets get really crusty. I don’t blow my nose on the tablecloth and am confident that I’m broadly acceptable in mixed company. Or at least, I’ve not yet noticed acquaintances talking quietly in corners, nodding in my direction.
So all in all, a rare find these days.
I generally prefer absurdity to reality although a damned good gin can sometimes make everything more acceptable.
I have a few offspring, now independent. Most have made me a grandfather and we’re still pretty much all on speaking terms. And I read a good bedtime story.
No police record ( I think), no beige trousers, no grey shoes, no fish cutlery or flocked wallpaper. But I do give to charity and I’m kind to animals.
And there you have it. I haven’t been on the market for a long time, so this should be fun?
