I have just retired
looking for someone special to share the adventures with.
I live just twenty minutes from the beautiful North Norfolk coast
I am always sociable and friendly.
I really enjoy theatre, live music, travel.
I dislike soap tv, reality tv
I watch sport, but I'm not obsessed with it
I enjoy gardening,
I am not a great cook, sometimes just trying to get the gravy to move about is a challenge, but willing to learn and have a go.
I am very lucky health wise
like to keep fit.
Have played basketball, tennis, squash, currently table tennis
I am hoping that being a kind person with honesty, decency, and integrity
may get me through, as I am definitely not powerful, highly educated or wealthy,
and I really wouldn't these to be the defining factors of a relationship.
But I can pay my own way.
( I'm beginning to feel a bit like Jack on Titanic now :)
Continuing to meet with friends and family is very
important to me.My children have grown up and moved on, but I like to think I can still embarrass them with my dancing, attempts to learn a new language, or my son trying to teach me piano
I am doing some volunteering with a couple of local organisations.
But also want to keep learning new things.
I enjoy hearing about and taking part in other people's hobbies and interests
Even though I am retired, I do still enjoy that weekend feeling that Saturday night can be wine and meal in, or out, theatre cinema music.
Sunday can be off to the coast for walking.
or whatever else might come up.
I appreciate that certain distances between people may be seen as an obstacle.
I realise that chemistry and geography don't always follow, ( apart from on my old school timetable:),
But the journey may be worth the gold
