About him
Young at heart and wearing well, my friends would describe me as confident, outgoing and friendly. I’d describe myself as an extroverted introvert! I enjoy witty humour and wordplay, and good banter. I’m passionate about things that I like, but also about people that I like.
I’m creative and practical, and play the guitars that I’ve made in a band. I love a bit of DIY and getting stuck into a good project. Music is a huge part of my life, from classic rock to Kraftwerk. I love live music and play guitar in a covers band, but I’m a hopeless dancer!
I love all things transport and am currently working towards my motorcycle licence (old dog, new tricks!) so will be in need of a pillion partner. I love a good beer in a good pub with good company, or chilling with my sons in front of a movie with my cat on my lap.
I’m very much a “jeans, tee shirt and leather jacket” guy, but can scrub up quite tidily. I’ll happily rock double denim.
I enjoy getting out and exploring, and learning about new places, as well as about myself. I love architecture and get sucked into history. I cycle to keep physically and mentally in good shape. I have a positive outlook, and will try and make the best of any situation, even if that means learning from my mistakes.

I love confident individuality, even quirkiness - an eclectic, natural style. I’d love someone who will not only see me for who I am, but help bring out the best in me. I like to have my eyes opened by new sights and experiences, but this is always best done when you can share the sensations with someone like-minded and with shared interests. Cat people, motorcycle lovers, rock music fans and those with a nerdy streak (Doctor Who, Star Wars?) would tick additional boxes, but these are far from deal breakers.
